Executive Director Governance and Strategy

Job Description:

The City is seeking a visionary leader to drive alignment, oversight, and innovation across executive governance functions. The Executive Director Governance and Strategy will lead a high-impact directorate encompassing key areas of the organisation.

This leader will partner closely with senior executives to advance major strategic initiatives, foster organisational excellence, and ensure effective decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation's leadership.

The role requires shaping the organisation's strategic direction and reform agenda in a high-profile leadership position, championing service excellence, corporate governance, and organisational performance, as well as representing the organisation in key stakeholder engagement across government sectors.
