Job Summary

This role requires an experienced professional to lead and deliver process improvements, technical support, and modelling activities across all planning horizons. The key focus will be on maintaining and improving plant mass, power, and water balances.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Safety and Performance: Identify and deliver solutions to operational challenges related to safety, process performance, yield, and plant upgrades.">
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders across the business to understand operational needs and deliver outcomes.">
  • Project Leadership: Lead and support projects from concept through design, execution, commissioning, and handover.">
  • Technical Quality: Ensure technical quality, integrity, and adequacy of process designs and changes.">
  • Documentation: Generate, review, and approve process-related documentation for optimisation and delivery.">
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with Management of Change processes.">
  • Health and Safety: Ensure correct application of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.">
  • Metallurgical Operations: Support metallurgical operations and project delivery through process simulation activities.">
">Qualifications and Experience:">
  • ">
  • Educational Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline are essential.">
  • Health and Safety Commitment: A strong commitment to health and safety is required.">
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the minerals processing industry with direct operational and technical development exposure is preferred.">
  • Process Engineering Experience: At least 2 years' process engineering experience on major mineral processing projects is necessary.">
  • Leadership and Analytical Skills: Strong leadership, conceptual thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills with a practical focus are required.">
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential.">
  • Process Modelling/Simulation Tools: Experience with process modelling/simulation tools such as SysCAD is highly regarded.">
