Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $135,459 – $157,027 plus superannuation.

Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a program of capital works, supporting the design and replacement of hydropower assets that have been operating for over 100 years. Your expertise will be utilised to provide high-level engineering and technical input into electrical asset specifications, review and make recommendations towards the final engineering sign-off of key documents, and provide technical options and solutions to asset issues that contribute to safe and timely commissioning of assets for availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in the design, construction or management of large industrial equipment;
  • Vast knowledge of electrical equipment relating to hydro power generation, including HV switchgear, transformers and alternators;
  • Operated in a senior capacity with the ability to ensure technical projects meet standards and manage risks;
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and positively influence the development of team members through guidance and support.
