  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, implementing and maintaining effective stock control procedures.
  • Prepare mise en place as required, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Liaise with the restaurant team to ensure seamless communication and menu availability.
  • Ensure all working areas are clean and tidy, with equipment properly maintained and serviced.
  • Adhere to Work, Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for cuisine and cooking, with a creative flair.
  • Previous experience in similar roles within an a la carte environment.
  • An interest in learning and developing your career with industry professionals.
  • Trade qualifications with previous experience an advantage.
  • A working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.
  • A high standard of hygiene, grooming, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
