Job Title

The Optical Network Development Engineer role entails designing, deploying, and scaling networks that support various business units across multiple global data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new hardware and software features.
  • Create implementation plans for incorporating them into the network.
  • Automate optical test plans and qualify optical modules.
  • Define and develop test plans for Optical Modules in collaboration with vendors.
  • Work with network operations teams to identify operation issues and improve quality and RMA processes.

Lifecycle Support
  • Includes day-to-day operations on-call, sustaining engineering, operational load automation and reduction, product and network security, network data integrity, availability assurance, and improvement.
  • Manages fiber infrastructure and vendor performance.
