Optical Network Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Network Engineer to contribute to our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, deploying and maintaining large-scale optical networks. This role involves collaborating with vendors to evaluate new hardware and software features, creating implementation plans for incorporation into the network, and automating optical test plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend new optical technologies to enhance network performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline network operations and improve quality control.
  • Collaborate with vendors to define and develop test plans for optical modules.
  • Work with network operations teams to identify and resolve operational issues, improving overall network reliability and quality.
