Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Reinforcement Scheduling Manager to join our team. As a key member of our network support team, you will be responsible for heading up the TSC Network Scheduling team, working closely with our Trade Service Centres to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to the national Trade Service Centre Scheduling Team, promoting Ausreo products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins.
  • Ensure all relevant induction and training is conducted for Schedulers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
  • Liaise with the TSCN Team regularly to ensure workloads and capacity are deliverable in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Responsible for the production and delivery of material to customers in accordance with agreed project plans.
  • Active management of lead time for scheduling and production, striving for optimum lead time where possible.

Requirements

  • Experience in Engineering and Construction with a working knowledge of the scheduling and construction process across various project types.
  • Extended knowledge of construction sequencing and structural properties and designs.
  • Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction, including domestic, residential, multi-storey, and civil works.
  • Civil and/or Structural Engineering tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in project execution to understand from a contractor's perspective, the site problems with reinforcing steel in concrete and buildability of concrete structures.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
