Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of reinforcing detailers to optimize client delivery
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of reinforcing detailers
  • Resolve problematic and contradictory drawings and details with sites, engineers, and other consultants
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of staff across different states
  • Liaise with internal staff to ensure clear communication for workflow between departments
  • Distribute workload evenly
  • Implement and oversee training and development of new and junior schedulers and oversee the scheduling team's performance
  • Assess individual schedulers regarding efficiency, accuracy, communication skills, project management skills, and performance across the duration of any specific supply contract, customer, or period
Requirements
  • Possess practical and structural knowledge of products and services within the construction and building industry
  • Extended knowledge of construction sequencing and structural properties and designs
  • Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction, including domestic, residential, multi-storey, and civil works
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Analytical thinking and planning
  • Demonstrate a flexible and 'can-do' attitude
  • Strong computer literacy with advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Prior experience as an engineer will be highly regarded
