Job Overview:

The primary role of this position is to train athletes for competitions, outlining optimal competition and sport-specific eating plans.

As a coach, you will be responsible for giving guidelines and recommendations for specific supplementation, accompanying athletes to events or matches, conducting weekly body-fat assessments and skin fold testing, and motivating athletes throughout preparation for events or competitions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Training athletes for competitions
  • Outlining optimal competition and sport-specific eating plans
  • Giving guidelines and recommendations for specific supplementation
  • Accompanying athletes to events or matches
  • Conducting weekly body-fat assessments and skin fold testing
  • Coaching, training, and instructing athletes and competitors
  • Planning and directing annual training periodization
  • Motivating athletes throughout preparation for events or competitions
  • Arranging and/or overseeing registration and entry into events or shows
  • Advising on suitable divisions and events
  • Gathering feedback from officials and judges

Requirements:

  • Certificate III and IV in a relevant field
  • At least two years of previous experience in coaching
  • Ability to work independently, supervise, and lead a dedicated team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Respectful, trustworthy, and capable of meeting work deadlines
