Job Description

This role is responsible for planning, organizing and delivering high-quality events in the Melbourne office at a state level and nationally, ranging from small to large events.

The successful candidate will support the Managing Partner and various Industry and Line of Business portfolios in planning and delivery of impactful events and activities for clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of allocated events end-to-end, including logistics, invitations, registrations, communications and post-attendee liaison, while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Ensure event processes, calendars, budgets and protocols are followed, including debrief reports to relevant partners and Client Market Growth (CMG) team.
  • Support national Marketing and Events team members with delivery of in-person and digital events.
  • Liaise with internal design team on graphics associated with events.
  • Collaborate and work with the CMG team to achieve shared goals and optimize client and stakeholder outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in event management, marketing or suitable relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in event management in a high-volume corporate environment.
  • Experience in a professional services organization would be preferred.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with an innate ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Teams for webinars and meetings.
