Clinical Director, Specialty Mental Health Services Leader

Austin Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Specialty Mental Health Services. As a key member of our Mental Health Division, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our services, including clinical treatment, teaching, research, financial, and human resource management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Mental Health Specialty Services directorate, incorporating the Brain Disorders Program, Psychological Trauma Recovery Service, Transitional Support Unit, and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.
- Collaborate with the Mental Health Divisional Medical Director to achieve goals and objectives consistent with the strategic plan of Austin Health.
- Provide clinical leadership and direction to our services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practice standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, service delivery, and staff engagement.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide efficient, safe, and quality care across the continuum.
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Hold a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Psychiatry.
- Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care, teamwork, and professional development.
