A leading energy company is expanding its presence in Australia, seeking a project development professional to drive business growth and deliver renewable energy projects.

Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business development, presenting qualified opportunities for the company to develop, and providing ongoing technical and commercial support as projects progress through various stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the development phase of solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and wind projects
  • Oversee planning, permitting and regulatory compliance across all projects
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including landowners and project partners
  • Lead all front-end activities, including technical requirements, commercials and environmental assessments

This is a permanent position based in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development, specifically in Solar and BESS.
