Project Support Specialist for Light Rail Development

At Major Projects Canberra, we are seeking a skilled Project Support Specialist to join our Light Rail Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and drafting complex written documentation, including Briefs and Project Board Papers, maintaining record keeping standards, collating information for ministerial requests and assisting the Light Rail Stage 2A Project team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project that aims to facilitate public transport usage and help manage congestion caused by population growth along the project corridor and across Canberra more broadly.

The Project Support Specialist will report directly to the Senior Director Project Controls and will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team that values diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft complex written documentation, including Briefs and Project Board Papers

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working in a project environment
  • Familiarity with tools and systems used in project management and management of project controls
