Optimizing Mine Performance Specialist

Develop and implement a sustainable 3-month rolling production plan.
Monitor and respond to compliance to plan, maintaining a focus on critical path activities. Set and communicate key mine priorities and messages.
Cultivate a risk-aware team by coaching them to identify and manage risks to the mine plan from a safety and productivity perspective.
Provide mentorship and guidance to planning engineers within the team to inform a sustainable plan.
Act as a safety leader, demonstrating commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Serve as a link with operational managers and superintendents to drive mine plan performance and solve for operational business risk to plan.
Challenge and review planning inputs to be used during planning cycles.
Identify functional capability gaps and drive improvement.
Provide feedback to short-term scheduling and engineering functions to improve future execution plans, designs, schedules, and forecasts.
Build and maintain close working relationships with engineering sub-functions.
