Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Focus
    • Develop a comprehensive risk and compliance strategy for Technology, safeguarding our infrastructure, software, and processes to foster business resilience.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a regulatory compliance framework for technology and data, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Operational Management
    • Monitor and report on compliance risks and issues related to technology and data.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of technology controls and frameworks.
    • Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures specific to technology and data, with an approach for identifying and assessing emerging risks and systemic issues.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Provide independent oversight of technology risk management practices within the organization.
    • Provide risk insights and recommendations to support the development and implementation of technology strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks within the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience as a Risk & Compliance leader with a focus on technology and data management.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and assessing controls and assurance practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate others within a global matrixed environment.
  • Experience in balancing local regulatory requirements within a group construct, with the ability to understand and satisfy needs of both local, regulated entities in multiple jurisdictions and the parent company.
