Job Description

As a Facility Manager, you will lead our aged care community with a strong balance of clinical excellence, workforce leadership, and operational effectiveness. You will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment where residents receive the highest standard of care, staff feel supported and empowered, and operations run efficiently.

Key responsibilities include leading the team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents, maintaining day-to-day operational performance of the facility, managing the budgetary requirements of the facility, leading the team, managing staff performance, and building a positive culture within the team.

Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach while adhering to all accreditation standards is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience, with ideally 2 years of leadership experience
  • Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical background along with a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards
  • Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the key business drivers of aged care
  • Understanding, exposure, and management of the Aged Care Funding Instrument, Aged Care Legislation, and Facility Accreditation
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading the team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents
  2. Maintaining day-to-day operational performance of the facility, including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, and safety
  3. Managing the budgetary requirements of the facility
  4. Leading the team, managing staff performance, and building a positive culture within the team
  5. Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach while adhering to all accreditation standards
