We are seeking an experienced Improvement Advisor to join our team at Austin Health. As an Improvement Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of improvement initiatives and building improvement capability within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the successful management of improvement and redesign work at Austin Health, ensuring maximum value is realized from improvement initiatives.
  • Employ the Austin Health improvement methodology, tools, and templates consistently.
  • Facilitate capability building of Austin Health staff in improvement and redesign.
  • Champion the provision of responsive, high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable improvement and redesign across Austin Health, aligned with strategic priorities and to achieve specified outcomes.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in improvement, redesign, and/or process improvement in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability or working towards coaching others in improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, collate, analyze, and present data for improvement.
  • Strong track record of working collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and implement improvement initiatives that will deliver sustained performance improvement.
  • Experience in group facilitation, capability building, and/or delivery of training.
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills with an ability to influence others.
