Job Opportunity

This exciting role offers the chance to provide exceptional customer service at our branch libraries and mobile library service.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to a diverse range of customers
  • Demonstrating excellent foundational skills in circulation and information services
  • Participating in the delivery of library programs and mobile services

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy learning and be confident with technology. They will also possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

About Our Libraries

We operate 6 community libraries across various locations, offering a wide range of services including borrowing, digital resources, study support, technology workshops and multicultural, children and youth services.

Our libraries pride themselves on providing high-quality customer services and creating places for people to learn and connect with one another.

Essential Requirements
  • A relevant diploma or degree
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong commitment to customer-focused service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment and independently
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Relevant computer skills and current driving license
  • A Working with Children Check number
Desirable Qualifications
  • First aid certification
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
