The RoleWe are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teacher Librarian to join our team. Commencing 22 April 2025 to 26 January 2026, this part time (0.3) position will be teaching 8 periods per week (Thursdays and Fridays) with a 12:15pm finish on Fridays.
The role will have 2 periods dedicated to planning our Year 6 reading and research program, whilst working closely with students and staff to foster a love for reading and learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the Year 6 Library Program, guiding students in their literacy development and research skills.
- Curate and maintain an engaging library collection that supports the curriculum and student interests.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom learning.
- Organize events and activities to promote reading and encourage a lifelong love of books.
- Provide support and guidance to students in their independent learning and information-seeking skills.
