Job Title: Technical Officer Level 4

A key role in the flood warning network involves working closely with teams to ensure high performance and deliver exceptional service. This position requires travel to remote areas, utilising various modes of transport.

  • Develop staff skills to meet performance targets.

The job involves monitoring instrumentation networks including rain radars, AWS, sea level monitoring stations, wave and wave height buoys, satellite ground reception, space weather instruments, and flood warning/rainfall monitoring systems.

Maintaining communications, telemetry, and instrumentation systems is essential for this role.

This position provides specialised training on all equipment ensuring you have the necessary skills to undertake this work effectively.
