Job Title: Field Services Network Technical Specialist
">Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our field services network team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and mentoring staff, ensuring strong teamwork abilities, and empowering and inspiring field teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
You will travel to remote areas in Australia, utilizing various modes of transportation, to maintain service delivery within the instrumentation networks. This includes:
- Rain Radars
- Automatic Weather Stations (AWS)
- Sea Level Monitoring Stations
- Wave and Wave height buoys
- Satellite ground reception and space weather instruments
- Flood warning/rainfall monitoring systems
- Cooperative observers, volunteer rainfall stations
- Communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems
You will work closely with stakeholders, contractors, support staff, and the public to deliver exceptional results.
Required Skills and QualificationsYou must have a strong background in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or Telecommunications, with previous field experience. You should be willing to travel and work in remote locations, and have excellent communication skills.
You will be part of a national maintenance workforce, and there is every likelihood of travel to other parts of Australia on occasion to support other Hubs around the country.
