Job Title: Servicing Youth and Children with Complex NeedsWe are looking for a skilled professional to lead our team in providing support services to children and young people with complex needs.This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.About the Job
  • The successful candidate will partner with children and young people to achieve their goals and live life on their terms.
  • They will also be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of support workers to ensure quality care is provided with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will have advanced problem-solving capabilities, confidence, and emotional intelligence to resolve complex situations.
  • They must be able to interact positively at all levels, including working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Leadership skills are essential to motivate and performance manage a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills, negotiation, mediation, and decision-making skills are also required.
Requirements
  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, Children's Services, or similar field is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health concerns.
  • A current NSW Driver's licence is required.
  • An obtainable Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC) are mandatory.
