
Care Leader for Complex Needs

This leadership role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with complex needs.
As a skilled leader, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality support services that promote dignity, respect, and autonomy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of support workers, providing guidance, mentorship, and supervision to ensure excellent care outcomes.
You will possess advanced problem-solving capabilities, emotional intelligence, and confidence to navigate complex situations. Additionally, you will have the ability to interact positively with diverse communities and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.
A person-centred approach is essential, prioritizing the goals and aspirations of individuals with disabilities. You will also celebrate and nurture an inclusive, diverse, and supportive workplace environment.
Required qualifications include a Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, Children's Services, or a similar field; or identification as Aboriginal and willingness to work towards relevant qualification.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health concerns is highly regarded. Current NSW Driver's licence and obtaining and maintaining current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC) are required.
