Job Title: Site Manager

The Site Manager will be responsible for leading site-based construction activities, managing subcontractors, trades, and materials. They will maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring accountability and upholding certified safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site-based construction activities, managing subcontractors, trades, and materials.
  • Maintain strong rapport with subcontractors - approachable yet firm in ensuring accountability.
  • Conduct and lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Implement and enforce certified safety management systems.
  • Coordinate inspections, safety walks, and ensure site compliance with WHS legislation.
  • Manage short-term programming and daily scheduling to align with overall project milestones.
  • Maintain strong communication with the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and quality control.
  • Deliver structural builds (1-2 storey) and a variety of project types with confidence.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects $5M-$30M.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS practices and experience working under a certified safety system.
  • Good communicator who builds positive, productive relationships with subcontractors and consultants.
  • Diverse project experience across sectors such as education, aged care, light industrial, or community.
  • Experience delivering structural components (concrete, steel, timber - 1-2 storey structures).
  • Short-term programming and trade sequencing experience essential.
  • Procore experience desirable but not mandatory.
  • Current White Card and valid driver's licence.
