Job Title: Construction Project Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Project Director to oversee the delivery of large-scale sportsfield and open space construction projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and on-site execution. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and our internal teams to ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of sports field and open space construction and renovation projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project programs, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, subcontractors, and specialist services.
  • Oversee on-site works, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Construction, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience and technical knowledge of sports field and open space construction methodologies, turf management practices, drainage/irrigation systems, earthworks, and associated equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving skills.
  • IT literacy and effective communication skills.
