From reviewing construction drawings to mentoring the team and ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and to budget — you'll be a key driver in protecting and enhancing our reputation for quality.Your Key Responsibilities:Oversee and review construction drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy, coordination, and complianceLead quality control processes across multiple projectsas a Design PractitionerManage and forecast resources, keeping teams efficient and projects profitableMonitor delivery timelines and budgets, ensuring targets are metSupport Project Leaders and Associates in resolving technical and construction challengesAct as a bridge between design and delivery — making sure the design intent is upheld through to completionLiaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve documentation and construction queriesMentor and guide team members on technical delivery and documentation best practiceWho You AreThe ideal candidate will bring:15+ years of local architecture experience with strong construction and delivery expertisein Class 2 projectsRegistration as an Architect in AustraliaRegistration as a Design Partitioner (NSW)A sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting documentation rightStrong understanding of codes, standards, and construction methodologiesExcellent resource and budget management skillsClear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across clients, consultants, and teamsLeadership qualities that inspire and mentor othersTechnical Tools:ArchiCAD and BIM (BIM360 environment)Microsoft OfficeWhat We OfferJoining PBD means stepping into a collaborative, supportive studio where your expertise in construction and quality control will make a real impact.
