Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure consistent service quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate workload and manage staff leave and absences during peak periods.
- Lead the administration of rates functions, including distribution of notices, property valuation adjustments, and pensioner concessions.
- Proactively coordinate and manage debt recovery procedures, adhering to established policies.
- Manage, lead, and mentor a team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Act as an escalation point for the team, assisting with resolving customer enquiries and disputes.
- Drive efficiency within the team, focusing on organizational priorities and achieving short- and longer-term goals.
- Facilitate effective utilization of time and resources to enhance capacity for key objectives.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Self-motivation with excellent time management and analytical skills.
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, superior communication, and a collaborative style.
- Strong team leadership experience and a history of continuous improvement.
- A customer service focus.
