We are seeking a Research Fellow to support the implementation and analysis of a quantitative component of an Australian Research Council funded project.
Key Responsibilities:- Support survey instrument design, testing and implementation
- Undertake data collection, cleaning, coding and analysis, including comparative analysis
- Communicate results to various audiences (including participants)
- Design and maintain a data dashboard
- Assist in producing technical reports, research reports and papers
- PhD in a relevant field and/or equivalent qualifications and experience
- Ability to contribute to research and administration
- Quantitative and mixed methods research skills and background in Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Cultural Studies or Social Geography
- Experience in survey instrument design & testing, data collection, coding, statistical analysis, technical documentation and data dashboard design
- Familiarity with software packages including Qualtrics, R and SPSS
- Understanding of longitudinal studies, participant management, retention and recruitment strategies and incorporating new data into existing datasets
- Interest in youth studies and migration research
