About this role:
As an Assistant Client Manager, you will support the Senior Client Manager in managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves a combination of client interaction, project coordination, and accounting responsibilities.

  • Support the Senior Client Manager in nurturing client relationships, addressing inquiries, and ensuring high client satisfaction
  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial data, correspondence, and project documentation
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support seamless project delivery
  • Train and mentor junior accountants, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and share relevant updates with the team

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience in Australian public practice, specializing in tax, financial reporting, SMSF, and possessing a strong command of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Expertise in Xero and other accounting tools is essential, along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
