We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Contractor. As an Accounting and Taxation Contractor, you will provide support to our clients remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual and business tax returns by ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with Australian regulations.
  • Assist with BAS, IAS, GST, and PAYG lodgments in a timely manner, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Perform bookkeeping and reconciliations using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar software to ensure seamless financial management.
  • Prepare financial statements and working papers in line with Australian accounting standards, providing transparent and reliable financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with the Australian team to ensure deadlines are met, fostering strong relationships and a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounting and taxation services, demonstrating expertise and knowledge in Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Excel, utilizing technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
