We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stores Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of pantry, storeroom, and non-cooking kitchen workers as well as purchasing kitchen supplies and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with stocktake and goods receipting, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. They will also possess a high energy level and the ability to motivate and direct others.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of pantry, storeroom, and non-cooking kitchen workers
  • Purchasing kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Inspecting kitchens, work areas, and storerooms for cleanliness and order
  • Responsible for coordinating work of non-cooking kitchen and workers engaged in activities such as dishwashing, silver cleaning and storage and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies

You will also be required to:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory
  • Implement safety processes and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
