Job Summary: Support various portfolio management and customer experience efforts in a dynamic financial services environment.

We are seeking a skilled Financial Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving general customer issues, calculating interest paid, account reconciliation, answering payment questions, providing credit references, loan balance confirmations, creating amortization schedules, updating maintenance records, identifying contract booking errors, and issuing copies of documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer needs by resolving general customer issues.
  • Calculate contract buyouts and communicate them to the requesting party.
  • Perform general account maintenance such as late charge waiver and address changes.
  • Develop relationships with customers, dealers, and Territory Managers.
  • Resolve termination and adjustment grief.
  • Reconcile customer accounts.
  • Research and evaluate specific customer issues, developing an overall understanding of the business.
  • Refer customers to the appropriate department for problem resolution.
  • Assist in the customer satisfaction process, including reviewing customer satisfaction surveys and providing follow-up to customers with outstanding issues.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of financing principles and products.
  • Knowledge of customer services concepts and techniques.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Able to nurture strong working relationships with other personnel, territory managers, and dealer personnel.
  • Able to work efficiently guided by priorities set by management.
  • Able to learn and practice policies and procedures.

Education/Experience:

  • A 3-year college or university degree in any discipline is recommended.
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
