Fitness Career Advisor

The role of a Member Support Consultant is to play an essential part in building and maintaining a thriving health club membership base.

They are responsible for interacting with prospective members, inspiring them to begin their wellness journey, and helping thousands of people become faster, fitter, stronger, and happier versions of themselves.

This position involves achieving sales growth goals through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through exceptional customer service.

A successful Member Support Consultant must be an expert in all things related to the health club: they should be able to seamlessly switch between sales and lead generation, provide exceptional service on the reception desk, and proactively communicate with current members to enhance their club experience and drive positive member retention.

• Contribute to sales budget utilization through promotions and referrals campaigns.
• Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach, referrals, and new business opportunities identification.
• Achieve required lead contacts via telephone to maximize sales opportunities.
• Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members.
• Create great member journeys through positive and personalized interactions.
• Ensure successful outcomes to enquiries.
• Open and close the club according to the roster.
• Participate actively in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey.
• Maintain regular service calls to new and existing members, keeping them engaged in their journey, and recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience.

About You:

You should have current First Aid & CPR certificates.

A valid Working with Children Check is also required.

You should be able to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds, with a desire to help others succeed in their goals.

The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles is essential.

Excellent communication skills are necessary, including the ability to listen, understand, empathize, and influence others.

Tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals is also required.

Customer focus with a desire to deliver exceptional customer outcomes is crucial.
