Job Opportunity: Direct Care Worker - Central Casual Pool

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Direct Care Workers to join the casual pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network and work in one or more of our diverse health units located in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu region.

About the Role

As a Direct Care Worker, you will assist in the care and supervision of residents of the Residential Care Home across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. You will work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team to partner with consumers, displaying our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Kindness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care and supervision of residents of the Residential Care Home
  • Work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team to partner with consumers
  • Display our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Kindness
Requirements
  • Completed the AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
  • Experience working with aged care clients
  • Ability to perform under limited direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
