About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to work in a community setting, assisting clients to remain living independently within a Consumer Directed Care model. You will provide personal care, household support, and contribute to day centre activities, all while working in a diverse range of clients and locations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to clients, including showering, bathing, toileting/continence management, and grooming
- Undertake household support, such as vacuuming, washing floors, and cleaning bathrooms/toilet areas
- Contribute to day centre activities, including transport, shopping assistance, and therapy services
- Work autonomously in the community, with flexibility and conscientiousness
- Holding a current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
- Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and displaying empathy towards the elderly and disabled
