Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Community Support Worker in the Southern Fleurieu region, providing personal care and household support to clients in their own homes. You will work autonomously in the community, utilizing a wellness and reablement approach to service delivery and meeting client-directed goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to clients, including showering, bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Undertake household support tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as shopping and transportation
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve client goals

Requirements

  • Current driver's license and access to reliable transport
  • Ability to work autonomously in the community
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity
