This role presents an exciting chance for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead and oversee the Surgical Ward at a reputable private hospital.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in nursing leadership, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and continuous improvement. They will have the ability to manage resources effectively, lead a dynamic team, and contribute to the overall success of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational leadership and management of the Medical and Rehabilitation Ward.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care while managing human, financial, and material resources.
- Actively participate in quality improvement and accreditation processes, adhering to National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) and Workplace Health and Safety protocols.
- Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience at NUM level or equivalent.
- Experience in the Acute setting.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
