Leadership Role in Patient Care Management
We are seeking a dynamic nursing professional to manage our medical and surgical unit, providing care in specialties including general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, general medicine, and palliative care.
Your New Position
As the leader of our team, you will be accountable for delivering safe, high-quality patient care while overseeing people, operational management, and workforce planning.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical guidance and direction to achieve high-quality, person-centred care.
- Lead and manage a team of over 38 nursing and support staff, ensuring effective resource allocation and workforce development.
- Drive quality improvement, risk management, and adherence to clinical governance frameworks.

You Will Bring
- Proven experience leading surgical/medical units, including HR, rostering, and resource management.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in surgical and medical nursing, with demonstrated problem-solving expertise.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to inspire, mentor, and build team cohesion.
