Job Title: Program Manager - Adult Survivors Program

Job Summary:

The NSW Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new and innovative model of care for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Assault (ASP) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation of a strengths-based, family-centred, culturally appropriate and trauma-informed model of care, working closely with the Adult Survivors Clinical Coordinator and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program plan to achieve the objectives of the ASP Program
  • Lead the development of partnerships and collaborations with NGOs, ACCOs, consumer networks and community Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol health providers
  • Provide advanced leadership and high-quality project management to ensure the successful implementation of the program
  • Oversee the recruitment, coaching, mentoring and performance development of staff
  • Manage delegated financial responsibilities and ensure the effective use of resources
  • Work closely with the Clinical Coordinator to ensure effective and sustainable local implementation of the program

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in service and facility planning within a healthcare setting
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to report on data related to health service needs and capacity
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health and/or community service-related projects and change initiatives
  • Proven experience in consulting and negotiating with stakeholders to positively influence and build trust
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel
