Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary maritime projects from concept to delivery, with hands-on involvement in design, modelling, and advisory work.
- Grow the company's presence in the Ports, Terminals & Shipyards sector, with 30-40% of your time dedicated to business development and strategic client engagement.
- Play a key role in expanding into the Defence maritime market, a growing area of national significance.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers while contributing to thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing.
- Represent the company at industry forums and client meetings, building strong relationships and market credibility.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10-15+ years' experience in maritime engineering, with significant Australian consulting experience.
- A strong network in Ports & Terminals (essential); experience in the Defence sector (preferred).
- Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ qualified (or working toward).
- Proven ability in business development.
