Job Description: Senior Bid Strategy ManagerKey Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic approaches for multi-million-dollar proposals, tenders, and bid responses, ensuring compelling offers are delivered within specified timelines.
- Lead bid management activities, mobilize internal stakeholders, set realistic execution plans, and oversee progress against those plans.
- Collaborate closely with Board-level directors, functional teams, and external partners to develop high-quality tender responses, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and brand guidelines.
- Facilitate discussions focused on differentiators, win themes, and content development to ensure exceptional answers are crafted.
- Deliver professional bids that meet brand standards and clearly communicate key messages, providing constructive feedback or escalating concerns to senior leadership throughout the bid process.
- Ensure timely submission of bids, meeting all deadlines and adhering to submission requirements.
- Support positioning activities aimed at enhancing conversion rates and business development initiatives.
- Contribute to deep understanding of Turner & Townsend services and products, identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
- Assist in preparing deliverables related to conversion and work-winning efforts, such as interview presentation coaching and procurement team engagement.
- Develop and maintain bid capability and skills within the Turner & Townsend India business.
- Report on pipeline and bid conversion trends to senior leadership, providing analysis and commentary.
- Oversee maintenance of content libraries and best practices approaches.
- Able to legally work in Australia and reside there.
- Minimum 8 years of experience writing successful bid submissions.
- Previous work experience in Project Management or Bid Management.
- Strong MS Office skills and IT literacy.
- Excellent proof-reading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy, including bid compliance.
- Organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, meet multiple deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to demands of the role.
- Relevant degree in Engineering discipline, Business, Marketing, English, or similar field (non-exhaustive list).
- APMP accreditation is advantageous.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Real Estate/Infrastructure/Construction sector (an advantage but not essential).
This position comes with an estimated salary range of $120,000-$180,000 AUD per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience, depending on the location. A competitive benefits package will be offered.
