Substation Engineering Leadership Opportunity

As a Director of Substation Engineering, you will be responsible for managing all phases of Substation projects, from design through construction and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership and technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership & Management: Manage all aspects of Substation projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and project deliverables.
  • Technical Expertise & Compliance: Oversee the design, analysis, and optimization of Substations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to align Substation projects with overall energy infrastructure goals.
  • Team Development & Support: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in Substation engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Substation design software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
