Job Title:

Behavioural Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for delivering person-centred support to individuals with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for participants.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
  • Provide education and training to carers and support teams
  • Collect and analyse data regularly to inform ongoing support strategies

About You:

  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy)
  • You have full Australian working rights
  • You have prior experience in community or private settings
