  • As a senior executive, you will provide high-level strategic analysis and advice on strategic and legal policy issues.
  • You will lead strategic and legal policy projects, including Cabinet submissions and whole of government submissions.
  • Research and advise on contemporary policy and legislative frameworks, based on evidence and best practice.
  • Develop productive partnerships with stakeholders to ensure successful negotiation on strategic and legislative policy matters.
  • Represent the team on committees and working groups.
  • Manage a team to meet all elements of its work program while building team capacity.
  • Contribute to the management of the department's Cabinet and Parliamentary work program, meeting deadlines and performance requirements.
  • Support senior executives to represent the team in forums and negotiations, and undertake policy analysis for initiatives.
  • Promote a safe and fair work environment through effective management practices and policies.
