Job Title: National Bridge Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Bridge Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bridge engineering, with a focus on leading projects from concept to completion.

The National Bridge Lead will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to deliver design, documentation, and construction of bridges;
  • Negotiate contracts, manage variations, and resolve commercial disputes;
  • Oversee project management and technical leadership across multiple disciplines;
  • Develop business development initiatives and strategic plans;
  • Mentor and develop technical staff;
  • Hire and expand the team as needed;
  • Liaise with other business sectors leaders within and outside the organization;
  • Approve employee time, expenses, and other management functions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in civil engineering;
  • Extensive experience as a Bridge Engineer recognized by clients at state level;
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards and current engineering principles and practices;
  • Ability to lead or direct a group of technical staff;
  • Proven track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects on time and to budget.
