About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our corporate team in Melbourne. As a key contributor, you will be involved in various aspects of cross-border investment and M&A transactions in both public and private markets.

Specifically, this role involves advising clients on a range of industry sectors, including private and public M&A, private capital raisings, IPOs, venture capital transactions, and commercial matters.

You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals who share your passion for delivering justice. Our team is growing, dynamic, and inclusive, with a strong pipeline of work.

We are looking for a solicitor with 3-5 years' PQE, who has solid experience in corporate transactions gained in a leading law firm or a well-respected boutique. You should have:

  • a strong track record in drafting skills for M&A transactions and shareholders agreements
  • experience in managing due diligence exercises
  • ECM and public M&A experience
  • excellent attention to detail and critical analysis
  • ability to manage client work with guidance from partners
  • initiative and ability to work effectively in a team
