Ticketing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled individual to join our Consumer team as a Ticketing Coordinator. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day ticketing operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to the achievement of key department KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the primary contact for ticketing requests, including special ticket offers, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
  2. Liaise with AFL MSS and AFL Ticketing on matters related to tickets, including member entitlements.
  3. Collaborate with the Membership team to troubleshoot member issues related to accessing tickets.
  4. Coordinate the fulfillment of internal ticket requests, ensuring accurate tracking and cost codes for internal transfers.
  5. Serve as the key contact for opposition teams regarding ticketing requests and coordinate bespoke builds.
  6. Capitalise on crowd build opportunities from internal departments, contributing to achieving ticketing targets.
  7. Collaborate with the Membership Team to ensure seamless delivery of matchday operations across membership and ticketing.
  8. Provide support to Membership team during key campaign periods.
Essential Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
  • Previous ticketing experience.
  • Experience using Aspect and/or Archtics platform.
  • Strong administrative skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise within tight timeframes.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic team player with a proactive work ethic, capable of working autonomously.
Desirable:
  • Database experience.
  • Interest in/data analytics.
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in a sporting environment.
  • Knowledge of AFL.

Please note, this is a 6-month full-time contract role.
