Experienced contract administrators are required for a significant commercial project in Canberra. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects in the ACT region.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of subcontractor packages and scopes
- Progress claim assistance and external variations
- Review, negotiation, and finalization of subcontracts
- Management and tracking of project expenditure
- Administration of RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
- Administration of the project HSE system
- Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skills with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
- Demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
- Industry-relevant degree qualification
- Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
- Confident and collaborative communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
