Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to lead commercial fitout projects from conception to completion.

This key role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Developing comprehensive project plans, including pre-construction programs, resource allocation, and budgets is crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop strategic project plans, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of professionals, promoting clear communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project finances, tracking expenditures, and managing cost-control strategies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, developing mitigation plans to avoid delays or budget overruns.
  • Client Relations: Maintain excellent relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns efficiently.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry - preferably in fitout.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects valued at $2M+.
  • Proficient user of Procore or equivalent project management software.
  • Hold a Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience in subcontractor tender analysis and negotiations.
  • Ability to effectively forecast and manage project budgets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of on-site safety requirements.
  • Proficient in developing pre-construction programs.
  • Experience in design coordination with architects and engineers.
  • Ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
