Research Funding Specialist

This role is focused on providing expert guidance to researchers in identifying and securing funding opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing grant applications, as well as identifying national and international funding opportunities that align with the Institute's capabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Offer strategic advice to researchers on funding opportunities and support them in developing effective grant applications.
- Identify and coordinate funding opportunities at both national and international levels that match the Institute's areas of expertise.
- Conduct thorough assessments of researcher track records to determine their readiness for specific grant schemes.
- Develop and implement targeted support processes for Early Career Researchers looking to secure grants.
- A postgraduate qualification and significant experience in higher education, research, industry, or government settings.
- The ability to assist researchers in conceptualising and developing successful grant applications.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international research policy environments, as well as current trends and issues in higher education research.
